By setting the code reflectors (c.f. figure above) to an appropriate position a unique ID code can be realised due to the specific delays of the acoustic wave. This code will be fixed at the time of production of the transponders, and will therefore remain unique. CTR provides up to 108 different codes. A customer specific identifier of the transponders is possible.
