Research and technology

Sensors are used in all areas where measurement, testing, monitoring or control are required. CTR develops innovative sensors and makes the systems smart. This involves combining various technologies such as electronics, mechanics or optics and integrating them in very small packages. The research focus at CTR lies in the areas of optical system and microsystems technology and includes many emerging technologies.

They primarily determine the functionality of the overall system and therefore constitute a stimulating and forward-looking research area.
