Smaller - faster - better
Microsystems make it possible to miniaturise conventional products, thus making them faster, more rugged and more cost effective. Many branches of industry profit from this unique benefit.
From chip to functioning sensor
Microsystems are based on micro-electro-mechanical components (MEMS) that can be combined in many different ways to produce functional systems. CTR develops driver modules and controllers for these MEMS and then turns them into complex sensor systems. Our portfolio includes various MEMS technologies, depending on the application required.
- Photonic MEMS: optical project and sensor systems
- Magnetic MEMS: development of high-precision magnetic sensors
- Acoustic MEMS: micro-transducer for digital sound generation
Microsystems revolutionise entire industries
Microsystems technology has completely revolutionised many areas such as the automotive industry with airbags and ABS, communications with smartphones and navigation systems or medical technology. Virtually every conventional technology can be improved with microsystems and benefit from the numerous advantages.
CTR expertise
In addition to outstanding expertise and long-standing experience in MEMS system integration, CTR also boasts cross-border, interdisciplinary skills. These capabilities enable the team not only to work with the technology itself but also to develop it in various directions and for different applications.
