With R&D in optics it is now possible to control light better. This process ranges from generation to propagation and manipulation of light, also taking in its use and detection.
A comprehensive view of optics
Optics, the study of the behaviour and properties of light, is used to carry out wide-ranging measurement tasks. CTR develops innovative optical systems for this purpose and implements them in many different projects. From development to manufacturing readiness we work in close cooperation with our industrial partners. CTR concentrates on the various development stages in optics.

Applications
Optical systems equipped with sensors can be used in many different industries and sectors. They not only help in process monitoring and optimisation, but can also be used in lighting or machining systems (laser).
