Project background

Symvaro is a company that develops modern electric mobility concepts and smart charging stations for electric vehicles. Its mission today is to develop and supply sustainable products based on new technologies for smart cities.

Project content

The project was about developing a smart charging station for electric vehicles where the socket will also become smart. It automatically indicates when charging starts and stops, displays the charging state and knows how much electricity the vehicle consumed. The prototype has two sockets and transmits status information wirelessly to an internet database, thus enabling access via smartphone. As a result, the smartphone is not only the key to electric mobility but also the key to the charging point and to recharging the electric vehicle. The charging process of tomorrow will therefore be seamlessly integrated with the user’s mobility needs.
